Accounts Payable Officer wanted within a growing consultancy based in North Sydney.

Your new company

Experienced Accounts Payable Officer to take ownership of the end-to-end AP function within a collaborative and growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for accounts payable, building strong relationships across the business, and identifying opportunities to improve processes. You'll have genuine ownership of the AP function and play a key role in supporting the wider finance team.

Your new role

- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage the AP inbox, responding to queries from staff and suppliers.
- Obtain invoice approvals from relevant stakeholders across the business.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage corporate card and expense processing through Concur.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and AP documentation.
- Support month-end activities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed




- 5+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes.
- Experience working with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, MYOB and SAP Concur
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of a business.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise competing deadlines and work autonomously.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
