C3Talent has partnered with a growing profit-for-purpose organisation to recruit an exciting, hands-on Accountant opportunity.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad role combining month-end accounting, management reporting, financial analysis, systems improvement and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with a national franchise network, providing financial support and helping improve the systems and processes that underpin the organisation.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Month-end accounting, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Management reporting, financial analysis and insights
- Preparing and lodging BAS
- Supporting AP, AR and payroll processes
- Responding to financial queries and supporting franchise owners
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate finance processes
- Supporting and optimising finance and operational systems
- Working closely with the CFO on projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About You





You will ideally have

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years' accounting experience
- CPA/CA qualification or studying towards is highly regarded
- Strong month-end, reconciliation and reporting experience
- Robust Excel and systems capability, with Xero advantageous
- An interest in process improvement and automation
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
- Franchise, multi-site or service-based experience would be advantageous
