We’re seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and technically savvy Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven accounts experience, strong organisational skills and confidence using accounting software and digital systems in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable: Maintain customer accounts by receiving and allocating payments, answering account enquiries, resolving invoicing errors and following up on overdue accounts.
- Accounts Payable: Manage the accounts payable process including verifying and entering supplier bills, resolving discrepancies with suppliers, preparing payments, ensuring price compliance and reconciling accounts.
- Bookkeeping & Accounts: Manage day-to-day accounting by entering expenses, reconciling accounts and assisting with BAS, GST, FBT and PAYG tax compliance.
- Customer Support:
Provide friendly and professional customer support by answering phone calls, responding to order and invoice enquiries, and processing customer payments.
Experience and Qualities We're Looking For
- Experience with MYOB Acumatica (Formerly MYOB Advanced) will be highly regarded but not mandatory. Use of other ERP systems, including Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Pronto and SAP is desirable in lieu of Acumatica.
- Formal bookkeeping skills are desirable but not mandatory.
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounts/administration role.
- High levels of numerical and verbal literacy.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite; particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and reconciling abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Foundational understanding of GST applicability and GL Accounts/Coding.
