Are you a motivated and dynamic person with high level administrative experience to join our compassionate and caring team?
An exciting opportunity exists for multiple staff to join The Sutherland Hospital Outpatient administration team. The role requires a client focussed and process driven person to join a very experienced, supportive and dedicated team.
This role is varied and it main purpose is to provide efficient reception and administrative support services for the Medical Outpatient Department. You will have a customer focus and an organised and motivated attitude to assist managers and staff with tasks in order to enable the department to achieve objectives in a timely, reliable and effective manner.
The role is 3 days per week Must be available: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm Where you'll be working The Outpatient administration works across multiple clinics throughout The Sutherland Hospital

The Administration Officer will provide a range of reception duties, including coordination of outpatient clinic bookings, administrative,
secretarial and clerical support to enable Sutherland Hospital outpatient services to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks under general instruction requiring minimal supervision
- Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently and courteously deal with a variety of people
- Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of the operation of outpatient clinics, including knowledge of patient billing and related processes
- Ability to use computer hardware, software applications and electronic patient administration systems (eg. eMR Outpatient Clinic Scheduler, PowerChart and iPM) and Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Word.
