About The Role
As an Advanced Practitioner - Behaviour Support at Northcott, you will provide specialist, person-centred and evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support for customers with complex needs. Working collaboratively with customers, families, staff and stakeholders to develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans that meet NDIS Commission requirements and promote independence, skills and quality of life.
Contribute to housing and functional assessments, deliver training, support interdisciplinary practice and provide practice leadership. The role includes supervising practitioners, participating in peer supervision, promoting the rights of people with disability, and supporting recruitment and induction.

What You’ll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification and completion or current enrolment in the Positive Approach to Behaviour Support Core Standard (FACS), including appraisal process, or CHCDIS006.
- Advanced PBS knowledge and experience applying the PBS Capability Framework in complex practice.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated practice leadership, supervision and mentoring experience.
- Experience in the disability and/or community sector using a person-centred, evidence-based PBS approach.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse paediatric and adult caseload while meeting service and performance targets.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records, completing documentation and rostered tasks within required timeframes.
- Ability to achieve a 55% average billable target and 80% minimum service agreement consumption.
- Ability to complete individual plan strategies within one month, with 100% compliance.
