We are seeking a reliable and hardworking apprentice to join our tree removal and garden maintenance business, servicing Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

About the role

This is a hands-on, outdoor role offering the opportunity to learn a broad range of skills while completing an apprenticeship in an associate field like horticulture, or parks and gardents. The role is based in Melbourne's northern suburbs, servicing tree removal and garden maintenance.

Any previous industry experience is welcome although experience with gardening, landscaping, labouring or operating tools would be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with tree pruning and removals

- Dragging, processing and loading branches

- Operating woodchippers and other equipment under supervision

- Lawn mowing and general garden maintenance

- Hedge trimming, pruning and green-waste removal

- Cleaning and maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment





- Following workplace health and safety procedures

About you

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team

- Take pride in completing work safely and properly

- Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport

- Willing to undertake the required training and apprenticeship studies

- White Card, chainsaw experience or previous outdoor work experience would be an advantage but is not essential
