Little Ducks New Farm is a privately owned Early Learning Centre and part of a small boutique group of five centres across Brisbane. Join our team as a Lead Educator in our Nursery space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma-qualified Educator who values teamwork, high-quality practice and wants to learn, grow and make a genuine impact for the children in their care.

As the Lead Educator

You will:

- Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Children’s Services.
- A minimumof 1 year sector experience.
- Have a current blue card, first aid certificate and recent CPR certificate and child safety qualifications.
- Maintain a strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and the protection of children at all times.
- Uphold and actively promote a child safe culture aligned with our policies, procedures,



and legislative requirements.
- Build safe, respectful, and nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in line with our Child Safe Environment and Code of Conduct policies.
- Identify, respond to, and report any child safety concerns in accordance with mandatory reporting obligations.
- Support an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and respected.
- Actively contribute to maintaining supervision, risk management, and safe practices across the service.
- Be passionate and dedicated with a strong knowledge surrounding play-based education.
- Have a desire to continuously improve your practices and knowledge through professional development.
- A strong knowledge of documentation, program and planning, the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- A strong commitment to working as part of an engaged and professional team culture.
- To be motivated to learn and improve both your own and others practices.
