We are currently seeking an energetic & proactive Trainee OTR (Off the Road) Tyre Repairer to join us at our Port Hedland, WA.This will be a residential position (not FIFO) working Monday to Friday.

n

Trainees can progress to qualified OTR Tyre Repairer in approx 12 months (fast tracked if you have light or heavy vehicle tyre fitting experience/qualifications).

The Role

n

n
- Gain skills & experience in the field of OTR (Off The Road) tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice.
n
- Perform duties at all times with a fully qualified OTR repairer to safely perform tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice and service standards.
n
- Assist qualified tyre repairers in the performance of tyre preparation.
n
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim / tube damage.
n




- Learn to select correct tyres / rims / tubes for each specific job task.
n
- Learn and understand the importance of equipment used on or off site to perform OTR duties safely, meet operational and safety requirements and if not, report any concerns for attention.
