Key responsibilities:

- Develop and implement reform policies, strategies and projects
- Undertake policy analysis and use data to inform recommendations
- Prepare high-quality policy papers, briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities
- Exercise sound judgement and progress work with limited direction
- Support a positive and cooperative team culture

The successful candidate will have:

- Solid policy development and implementation experience
- Excellent analytical, writing and problem-solving skills
- Experience preparing government policy documents and advice
- Strong judgement, governance and decision-making capability
- The ability to manage emerging priorities and work cooperatively
- Experience with legislation, strategic commissioning, Commonwealth procurement or the disability sector would be advantageous
