Asbestos Removalist / Demolition Labourer – Full-Time

BrizPlant is looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our asbestos removal and demolition team across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

We are looking to build a strong long-term crew, not just fill short-term labouring positions.

This role would suit someone who already has asbestos removal experience, or someone from a construction, demolition, trade, mechanical or other hands-on background who has the right attitude and wants to build a long-term career in the industry.

For suitable people, we are prepared to invest in further training and tickets.

The role includes

- Bonded and friable asbestos removal
- Residential and commercial demolition
- Strip-outs and decontamination work
- Site setup and containment
- Manual handling and physically demanding work
- Use of hand and power tools
- Site clean-up and waste handling
- Working within a small experienced crew
- Work throughout Brisbane and SEQ

Highly regarded

- Class A or Class B asbestos removal ticket
- White Card
- Previous asbestos removal experience
- Demolition or construction experience
- Working at Heights
- EWP ticket
- HR or HC licence
- Excavator, skid steer or other plant experience
- Experience supervising or leading small crews

Pay and progression Full-time employees: $38–$45/hr + super depending on experience, tickets and demonstrated ability.

Subcontractors are also welcome to apply, with subcontract rates negotiated separately based on experience, tickets and capability.





This is preferably a full time position with ongoing work.

There is genuine opportunity to progress within the business. Employees who prove themselves, gain additional skills and take on more responsibility can move into senior removalist, supervisor and crew-leading roles.

For the right long-term employees, BrizPlant is prepared to assist with additional training and industry tickets.
