About the Role
As the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department and lead a large team to consistently deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional room and public area standards
- Act as the department leader during the Executive Housekeeper's rostered days off
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching,
and performance management
- Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure brand and quality standards are consistently achieved
- Work collaboratively with hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Monitor productivity, service standards, and operational efficiency
About You
- Previous experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards
- Hands-on approach with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
