Details: Corporate provides a range of strategic, governance, organisational development, administrative and human resource functions for the Chief Minister and Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (Directorate). It administers the governance framework, corporate policies, audit and compliance assurance programs, as well as drives our solid risk framework including supporting business continuity, emergency management and protective security.
Corporate are seeking an organised and driven individual as the Associate Director, Governance and Risk who will be responsible for coordinating risk management, business continuity and emergency coordination functions, supporting the broader team with the development and implementation of governance policies and frameworks, as well as support the Internal Audit function.

Eligibility/Other requirements: A qualification in risk management or a recognised management discipline (desirable).
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 26 October 2026 until 25 October 2027 with the possibility of permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection method: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position will be based in a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
