Skillen Industries Diesel is looking for a qualified full-time mechanic to join our growing workshop in Heatherbrae, NSW. This is a Monday–Friday, full-time position working across a wide variety of diesel 4WDs, light commercial vehicles and American trucks. The workshop specialises in diesel diagnostics, mechanical repairs, dyno tuning and performance upgrades, so this is a varied role rather than repetitive general servicing.
Key responsibilities
- Mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
- Injector and fuel system work
- Turbo replacement and upgrades
- Engine repairs
- Intake and cooling system work
- Performance and 4WD accessory installation
- Vehicle inspections and health checks
- Assisting with vehicles undergoing dyno tuning and performance work
About you
- Qualified mechanic who takes pride in their workmanship
- Can diagnose and complete jobs methodically
- Works well independently and as part of a small team
- Maintains a clean and professional standard of work
- Diesel, common-rail and diagnostic experience is highly regarded
- Experienced automotive mechanics keen to develop further in diesel and performance work are welcome
