Role Description

B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer required for a short-term assignment supporting Dash 8 Classic operations in Cairns.

This role is expected to run for approximately four weeks and is suited to a B2 LAME who already holds the required Dash 8 Classic type rating and can support the Cairns-based requirement at short notice.

The client has indicated that the preferred commencement is from the 21st, although sooner availability may also be considered. FIFO has been indicated, with specific travel arrangements still to be confirmed.

Essential Requirements

Required Role Experience: B2 LAME experience supporting aircraft maintenance operations

Maintenance Qualification / Licence: Current B2 LAME licence

Aircraft Type Rating: Dash 8 Classic type rating is required

Availability: Availability suitable for an approximately four-week assignment in Cairns

Work Rights: Australian work rights required

Rate Expectation: Applicants should be prepared to confirm their rate expectation as part of the screening process

Skills: Aircraft maintenance, approved maintenance data, defect reporting, certification, communication and problem-solving

Attitude: Safety-focused, reliable, proactive, team-oriented and able to work independently

Important Note

General Dash 8 experience is not a substitute for holding the required Dash 8 Classic type rating. Please only apply if you meet the confirmed B2 LAME and Dash 8 Classic type-rating requirement.
