Looking for a barista role with no weekends and great daytime hours?
Roast Art Studio Café is looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Barista to join our small team.
This is a 3-4-day-per-week position, generally working around 9:00am to 3:00pm, with some flexibility available.
Our café operates Monday to Friday only – no weekend work required.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has some café and barista experience and would like to further develop their coffee skills while also gaining experience in coffee equipment, accessories and retail sales.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and serving quality coffee and other beverages
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Selling coffee beans, brewing equipment and coffee accessories
- Helping customers choose the right coffee products and equipment
- General café and retail duties
- Keeping the café and retail area clean, organised and well presented
What we're looking for:
- Some barista and café experience is essential
- Further training can be provided to help develop your skills
- Friendly, reliable and confident dealing with customers
- A genuine interest in coffee and willingness to learn
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Positive attitude and willingness to help with both café and retail duties
