We are seeking a skilled and motivated Barista to join Territory True Pty Ltd. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with a strong passion for coffee, demonstrated beverage preparation and customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in café operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to work collaboratively with café and kitchen staff, and a focus on delivering consistent, high-quality beverages and friendly customer service while maintaining cleanliness, food safety and operational efficiency.
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, including espresso-based beverages such as lattes and cappuccinos, as well as other hot and cold beverages.
- Operate, clean and maintain industrial coffee machines, grinders and other beverage preparation equipment.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service and promote café products and services where appropriate.
- Greet customers and take and prepare beverage and light snack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process customer payments and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register as required.
- Work collaboratively with café and kitchen staff to ensure efficient preparation and service of customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout coffee-making, service and café areas, including cleaning equipment, utensils, glassware and work surfaces.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels, including coffee beans, beverages, cups, supplies, display items and refrigerated products, and advise management when additional stock is required.
- Select, measure and grind coffee beans as required to prepare coffee beverages to appropriate quality and consistency standards.
- Assist kitchen and café staff with equipment, preparation and other operational tasks when required.
- Maintain an organised, clean and efficient workstation, ensuring coffee-making and service areas are appropriately prepared for service.
- Support smooth café operations during busy service periods by preparing and serving orders efficiently and assisting with general café duties as required.
- Maintain appropriate personal presentation, hygiene and uniform standards.
- · Relevant trade qualification AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or at least one year of relevant experience.
- · Previous experience as a Barista in a fast-paced café or Hospitality environment. Including operating industrial coffee machines, preparing high-quality beverages, customer service/satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Applicants must have:
- Relevant trade qualification AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or at least one year of relevant experience.
- Previous experience as a Barista in a fast-paced café or Hospitality environment. Including operating industrial coffee machines, preparing high-quality beverages, customer service/satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Barista and coffee-making skills, including espresso-based beverages.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
