Local Workforce Hire is currently seeking a friendly, professional and reliable Receptionist to join a well-established panel beating business in the Oakleigh area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident using computers and can remain calm and organised in a busy customer-facing workplace.
The Role
Working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00am to 4.00pm, you will be the first point of contact for customers and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the business.
Your duties will include:
- Greeting customers in a warm and professional manner
- Answering incoming telephone calls, screening calls and taking messages
- Searching for vehicle parts and information online
- General administration duties
- Using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Using internet browsers including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome
- Assisting with other office duties as required
- Full training will be provided on the company's systems and processes
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, warm and welcoming
- Patient and understanding when dealing with customers
- Comfortable communicating with elderly and non-English speaking customers
- Confident dealing with multiple tasks at once
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Well presented and professional
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills
- Able to work independently while also being part of a team
Hours & Pay
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
9.00am – 4.00pm
21 hours per week
$40 per hour + super
Approx. $840 gross per week + super
The position will initially be offered on a casual basis with the opportunity to become permanent. Some adjustment to the working days/hours may be required.
