About the role
n
Wintringham's Port Melbourne Hostel is seeking a Domestic Services Attendant to join our team. Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive workplace for our residents. Reporting to the Residential Site manager, responsibilities include:

- Maintain a clean and safe setting for residents, staff and visitors
n
- Ensure provision of clean laundry throughout the home
n
- Cleaningduties as per schedule
n
- Participate in resident ordering system
n
- Maintain equipment in line with manufacturer's instructions
n
n
What are we looking for?
n
n
- Ability to manage time
n
- Ability to work without direct supervision
n
- Physically able to perform required tasks
n
- Ability to work as part of the team
n
- Certificates in HACC or Occupational Health and Safety such as infection control, use of chemicals and manual handling
n
- Certificates in Food Handling/Food Hygiene
n
n
What we offer

Employment type: Part Time Role
n
Pay: $31.46 - $32.28/hour (depending on your quals & experience) plus super. Above Award pay and not-for-prof it salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.
n
Roster/hours of work: 9 shifts per fortnight – 67.5 hours per fortnight

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process. The successful applicant will be contacted by Wintringham to complete required reference, registration/licence, and background checks prior to employment, including completion of an aged care statutory declaration, a NDIS Worker Screening Check, providing evidence of current seasonal influenza vaccination, at least one COVID-19 vaccination and as required a National and/or International Police Check.
