Centre Director – Little Farm Early Learning

As Centre Director, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service. Little Farm has been created to feel very different from a traditional childcare centre, with extensive outdoor spaces, gardens, animals and opportunities for children to connect with the natural world and their community.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop the team
- Create a positive, respectful and accountable workplace culture
- Maintain high standards of education, care, compliance and safety
- Support strong relationships with children and families
- Manage staffing, rostering and day-to-day operational requirements
- Maintain regulatory and documentation standards
- Address issues early rather than allowing them to escape
- Communicate confidently with families, educators and management
- Support enrolments and build strong connections within the local community
- Ensure the service runs smoothly without requiring constant direction or micromanagement

About you





- Diploma or Bachelor qualification approved for Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
- Previous leadership experience within an early childhood service
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage service operations
- Strong leadership presence and sound judgement
- Confident making decisions and taking responsibility for them
- Organised, proactive and solution-focused
- Ability to communicate directly, professionally and respectfully
