About the Role
Due to continued growth and the award of new projects, PIC is seeking experienced Boilermakers with heavy structural steel and tank construction experience to join our team on an exciting project in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.
The project involves the supply and installation of tanks onsite, with works expected to continue through to the end of February 2027, with strong potential for ongoing opportunities across future PIC projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication, assembly and installation of heavy structural steel and tanks
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and project specifications
- Performing general boilermaking, fabrication and fitting duties
- Working to strict quality and project requirements
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety and workmanship
- Working effectively as part of a remote site-based construction crew
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience with heavy structural steel and tank construction
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Relevant trade qualification
- Construction White Card
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work effectively in remote site conditions
Highly Desirable
- Previous tank construction experience
- Experience working on mining or construction projects
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets
- Current VOCs and relevant high-risk tickets, preferably issued within the last 3 years
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months
