Our services include brick paving, concrete works, house slabs, crossovers, hardstands, ramps and footpaths, earthworks, Bobcat services, site preparation and associated construction activities. Due to ongoing operational requirements, we are seeking experienced Brick Pavers to join our construction team across projects in the Perth metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities – Brick Paver The successful applicant will be responsible for:

· Preparing and levelling ground and sub-base areas for paving works.

· Measuring and setting out paving areas according to project requirements.

· Preparing sand, road-base and other bedding materials.

· Laying brick, paving blocks, concrete and other paving products to required levels, patterns and specifications.

· Cutting and shaping pavers using appropriate hand and power tools.

· Establishing correct levels, falls and drainage requirements.

· Installing edge restraints and completing paving borders.

· Compacting paving surfaces using appropriate compaction equipment.

· Filling and finishing paving joints.

· Constructing and repairing paved driveways, pathways, courtyards, crossovers, hardstands and associated areas.

· Identifying and rectifying uneven,



damaged or incorrectly installed paving.

· Reading and following plans, measurements and site instructions.

· Operating relevant construction tools and equipment safely.

· Maintaining clean and protected work areas.

· Working collaboratively with supervisors, concreters, plant operators and other construction personnel.

· Complying with WHS requirements and company safety procedures.

· Performing other paving-related duties reasonably required for project completion.

Skills & Experience

Applicants should demonstrate

· Relevant practical experience and strong understanding in brick/concrete block paving.

· Experience preparing bases and laying pavers to correct levels and falls.

· Ability to measure, cut and accurately install paving materials.

· Knowledge of compaction, bedding and finishing techniques.

· Ability to safely operate paving and construction equipment.

· Ability to interpret basic plans, measurements and site instructions.

· Good attention to detail and workmanship.

· Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor construction work.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.

· Current Australian driver's licence preferred.

· Construction White Card, or ability to obtain one before commencing work.

· Relevant trade qualifications will be highly regarded but not compulsory.

Pay: $79,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year
