Casual Team Member – Chance to Progress into Store Management

We are a busy and growing local burger shop looking for reliable, motivated and enthusiastic team members to join us on a casual basis.

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to progress into a part-time or full-time Store Manager role based on performance, reliability, leadership ability and business requirements.

Working Hours

Shifts are available between 10:00 am and 10:30 pm, depending on the roster. Applicants must be available for a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Taking customer orders and operating the POS system and cash register
- Preparing burgers, deep-fried sides and other menu items
- Completing general food preparation
- Washing dishes and cleaning equipment
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Restocking ingredients and monitoring supplies
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Working cooperatively with other team members during busy periods

Candidates interested in progressing into a management role may also receive training in:
- Supervising and supporting team members
- Opening and closing the store
- Managing daily operations and shift performance
- Preparing staff rosters
- Monitoring stock and placing orders
- Maintaining food safety, quality and cleanliness standards
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues
- Supporting staff training and development





What We’re Looking For

- Availability for weekday daytime shifts
- Weekend and evening availability
- Food safety knowledge or certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous hospitality or fast-food experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable for candidates interested in the management pathway
