About the role

As BDM, you'll be the face of The Grout Guy in the marketplace — identifying current business opportunities, building relationships with property managers, real estate agents, builders, strata companies, and commercial clients, and turning leads into long-term partnerships. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure the sales pipeline translates into happy, repeat customers.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and strata markets
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agencies, property managers, builders, and facility managers
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to hit growth targets
- Represent The Grout Guy at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and tender responses
- Track leads, pipeline, and conversion using CRM tools
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth handover from sale to service delivery
- Report on sales performance and market trends to leadership

About you

- Proven experience in a BDM, sales,



or account management role (trades, construction, or property services experience highly regarded)
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality — you love chasing new business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable using CRM software and basic reporting tools
- A current WA driver's licence
- Local WA market knowledge is a big plus
