At Kudos Services, we’re looking for a Business Intelligence & Reporting Officer who enjoys working with data, solving problems and making information easier to understand.
Your work will help leaders across Kudos understand what’s happening, identify trends and make informed decisions through accurate and meaningful reporting.

About the role
Good decisions start with good information.
As our Business Intelligence & Reporting Officer, you’ll help strengthen how Kudos uses data across areas including workforce, service delivery, customer experience, finance, quality, risk and growth.
You’ll bring information together from multiple systems and turn it into clear, reliable reporting that leaders can use.
From cleansing and reconciling data to investigating discrepancies, improving reports and identifying trends, you’ll play an significant role in helping Kudos understand what the data is telling us.
What you’ll do
- Extract, cleanse, validate and reconcile data from multiple systems.
- Prepare accurate monthly, periodic and ad hoc reporting.
- Develop and maintain Excel, Power Query and reusable reporting tools.
- Create clear tables, charts, KPI summaries and commentary.
- Support Executive and Board reporting.
- Investigate data gaps, inconsistencies and unusual results.
- Maintain reporting documentation, KPI registers and data standards.
- Provide analysis to support workforce, service delivery, customer experience, quality, risk and finance.
- Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
- Work with leaders and system owners to understand data and reporting needs.
What you’ll bring You’ll be someone who is curious about data, enjoys solving problems and has a strong eye for detail.
- Experience in data, business intelligence, organisational or performance reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Power Query or similar tools.
- Strong data quality, analysis and reconciliation skills.
- The ability to turn data into clear and easy-to-understand reporting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain information in plain English.
- The confidence to work semi-autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- An understanding of privacy and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
Desirable, but not essential: experience with Power BI, ELMO, Splose, LOGIQC, Xero or SharePoint, and/or experience in disability, health, community services, government or not-for-profit. Why this role?
