Midfield Food Services is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Butchers, Apprentice Butchers, Knife Hands and Production Staff to join our team in Regency Park, South Australia. This is a full-time opportunity to contribute to the success of our leading food processing company.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing, cutting and packaging a variety of meat products to the highest quality standards
- Assisting with the full butchery process, including boning, trimming and packing
- Mincing, dicing and sausage filling
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work environment
- Collaborating with the wider production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience in butchery, meat processing or food production (essential for qualified Butchers, desirable for Apprentices and Production Staff)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certification
- Willingness to learn new skills
