Café Lurline is looking for an experienced and reliable Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team in Katoomba.
We’re looking for someone who is confident working in a busy café environment, has outstanding customer service skills, and is happy to help across different areas of the café when needed.
Key responsibilities include
- Preparing consistently high-quality coffee and other beverages
- Taking customer orders and operating the POS
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Running food and drinks to tables
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Maintaining cleanliness of the café, coffee station and service areas
- Supporting the team with general café duties as required
What we’re looking for:
- Previous barista and/or café experience preferred
- Confident making a range of espresso-based coffees
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods
- Friendly, reliable and well presented
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Available for weekday and weekend shifts
- Reliable transport or ability to get to Katoomba for scheduled shifts
We operate multiple hospitality venues in the Blue Mountains, so there may also be opportunities for additional hours and development across our businesses for the right person.
