As the Cafe Manager at Catering Project, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant cafe located in the Western Sydney University, Nirimba Campus. This is a full-time role where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the cafe, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Foster a positive and productive work setting, leading and motivating a team of passionate baristas and cafe staff.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality food and beverages, ensuring consistently excellent customer experiences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Actively participate in the development and execution of the cafe's strategic growth plans.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a cafe supervisor role.
- Hands-on experience in all aspects of cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, barista skills, and point-of-sale systems.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve exceptional customer service and sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, staff, and key stakeholders.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- Must have WWCC.
- Must have RSA.
