Milieu Early Education & Care is opening a brand-new early learning centre and is seeking a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Centre Cook to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new service from day one, contribute to a positive workplace culture and help create a welcoming, supportive and nurturing environment where children, families and educators feel valued.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, organised and creative Centre Cook who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for young children.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing nutritious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
- Creating healthy, appealing and child-friendly meals
- Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Managing kitchen supplies, ordering stock and maintaining stock rotation
- Keeping accurate records in line with food safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with educators and management
- Contributing ideas to menus and meal planning





Experience working as a cook in an early childhood education and care setting will be highly regarded. A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is desirable.
