Join us at Devil's Corner Cellar Door, where world-class wines, breathtaking coastal views and exceptional local food come together to create a truly memorable visitor experience. As Chef, you will prepare and deliver fresh seasonal dishes while helping create memorable food experiences for visitors to one of Tasmania's most iconic wine destinations.
This is a permanent, full time role, working Thursday – Monday

In partnership with Fishers of Freycinet, our food offering celebrates the region’s exceptional produce, delivering a relaxed yet premium dining experience that perfectly complements our wines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality,
seasonal menu items with a strong focus on pizzas and casual dining.
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked and presented to consistently high standards.
- Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, rotation and waste minimisation.
- Maintain exceptional food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and cellar door teams to create memorable visitor experiences.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture and support daily kitchen operations as required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
About You
- Qualified Chef or Cook with experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Passionate about preparing high-quality food and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Food Safety Certificate (SITFXSA005 or higher) and a current Driver's Licence required.
