What You'll Be Responsible For:
n
As Branch Manager, you'll have full operational responsibility for the South Australian Energy and Contract Logistics business, including:
n
n
- Leading a high‐performing operations team across fuel and contract logistics.
n
- Driving a culture where"Everybody Safe Every Day" is embedded in everything we do.
n
- Managing fleet performance, scheduling, utilisation and operational efficiency.
n
- Delivering exceptional customer service while strengthening long‐term client relationships.
n
- Working closely with fuel terminals, contractors and key stakeholders.
n
- Leading financial performance, budgets, KPIs and profitability.
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery and business performance.
n
- Ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods legislation, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and company standards.
n
- Recruiting, coaching and developing talented operational teams.
n
- Leading incident investigations, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
n
About You:
n
You're an experienced transport or logistics leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence with people leadership.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
- Significant leadership experience within transport, logistics, fuel, energy or dangerous goods.
n
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
n
- Proven success leading large operational teams in fast‐paced environments.
n
- A genuine passion for safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Experience managing fleet operations and transport scheduling.
n
- The ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining exceptional customer outcomes.
n
- Experience within fuel, hazardous chemicals or dangerous goods transport will be highly regarded, however experienced transport leaders from broader logistics environments are encouraged to apply.
