Position Information:

We have excellent opportunity for experienced and passionate Chefs to join our team in one of our 22 aged care villages listed below
n
This agile role will see you responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality catering services to our residents that meet their nutritional needs, and the special requirements and preferences of these residents in an effective and efficient way.
n
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
- Preparation, presentation and serving of high-quality food and meals to residents
n
- Preparing menus and plans for meals, ensuring provision of choice for residents and compliance with health and nutritional standards
n
- Liaising with the Care Manager and the care team to ensure residents are provided with meals that meet specific dietary needs
n
- Compliance with food and safety program, providing high quality, efficient and effective service
n
n
What you need to be considered:
n
n
- An experienced Cook
n
- Focus on delivery of a high-quality food service to our residents.
n
- Driven to work for a reputable aged care provider and become part of the RFBI family.
n
- Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
n
- Qualification in Safe Food Handling and Preparation
n
- An understanding of and the sensitivity to the issues related to providing services to older people
n
- Relevant experience working in a food services environment
n
- Knowledge/understanding of special dietary needs for the elderlyUnderstanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
n
