Reception & Reservations Team Member

n

Banksia Tourist Park is a family-run tourist park and lifestyle village for over 55s, based in Hazelmere. We offer onsite and short-stay accommodation, permanent sites and a welcoming community workplace for our guests, residents and visitors.

We are looking for a friendly, capable and reliable Reception and Reservations team member who enjoys helping people, working in a busy office environment and being part of a supportive team.

n

As a family-run business, we value good service, teamwork and a positive attitude. The right person will be welcomed, supported and made to feel part of the team while learning the role.

The Role

n

n
- Immediate start
n
- Casual role, with approximately 20-30 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the operational needs of the business.
n
- Available Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.
n
- Weekday shifts will vary depending on the operational needs of the business
n
- Weekend shifts are usually 10.00am – 4.00pm, approximately every second or third weekend
n

Duties

n

n
- Front reception duties, including answering incoming calls, redirecting enquiries, managing correspondence and taking reservation bookings
n
- Meet and greet guests, residents and clients in a warm and qualified manner
n
- Liaise with permanent residents, build rapport and help maintain a positive community atmosphere
n
- Use booking and office systems to manage reservations, enquiries,



guest communication through third-party booking gateways, daily administration and general office duties
n
- Scanning, photocopying and electronic filing
n
- Perform ad-hoc office duties, assist with laundry as required, and help ensure the office, reception and shared areas are kept clean, organized and welcoming
n

About You

n

n
- Previous reception, reservations, hospitality or administration experience is preferred, but full training in our booking systems will be provided
n
- Experience with Newbook or RMS is highly desirable
n
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word or Excel is desirable
n
- Excellent phone skills, clear communication and confidence dealing with guests, residents and people from different backgrounds
n
- Well organised, efficient and able to multitask with excellent attention to detail
n
- A current driver's licence is required
n
- Well-presented, courteous and professional
n
- Proactive, with a strong work ethic and initiative
n
- A vibrant personality, friendly and helpful attitude, and positive energy to bring to the team
n
- Current police clearance and the right to work in Australia are required
n
