About the role

We have two exciting opportunities for organised and proactive administrators to join the City of Sydney's Legal Services team as part of a new support team.

Supporting legal, governance and risk functions, you'll play an important role in keeping legal matters, records and business processes running smoothly. Working closely with legal professionals and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality services while helping identify smarter and more efficient ways of working.

In this role you will:

- provide administrative support for legal matters, documents, records and correspondence
- assist with court documentation and land title transactions
- maintain records and systems in line with record-keeping requirements
- support financial administration, including purchase orders and invoices
- coordinate meetings, events and stakeholder communications
- contribute to process improvements and team initiatives.

What you'll bring:

- relevant qualifications in administration, legal administration, accounting, bookkeeping or a related field
- experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal, government or professional services workplace




- strong organisational and communication skills
- excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn new systems.
