About the Opportunity An established Goldfields mining and civil contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our growing team.
This is a residential position based in the Kalgoorlie–Boulder region of Western Australia. We welcome applications from experienced operators currently living in the Goldfields, as well as those interstate or elsewhere in Australia who are willing to relocate.

About the Role
You will be involved in a range of mining civil activities including:
- Civil earthworks
- Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) works
- Drainage and water management
- V-drain construction
- Soakwell installation
- Road construction and maintenance
- Final trim excavation
- Loading trucks and stockpile management
- Daily machine inspections and pre-starts
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures
About You The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience operating excavators on civil projects
- Previous mine-site experience
- Excellent machine operating skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Strong communication skills
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Willingness to relocate to the Kalgoorlie–Boulder region if not already residential
Desirable
- TSF or water management experience
- HR Driver's Licence
- Experience operating additional civil plant
