Claims & Compliance Officer - Launceston

NJL is looking for a friendly, organised and detail-focused Claims & Compliance Officer to join our Head Office team in Launceston. This full-time, fixed-term role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, checking details, asking questions and helping teams get things right. You’ll be part of a positive and supportive Head Office environment where collaboration, accuracy and continuous improvement are valued.

The Claims & Compliance Officer plays an important role in supporting NJL’s government-funded programs by ensuring claims, evidence, data and reporting are accurate, timely and compliant. In this role, you will review and collate documentary evidence, process reimbursement claims, conduct audits, prepare reports for the management team and coordinators, and support operational staff with clear information relating to program requirements.

In this role, you will:

· Maintain and update spreadsheets, records and reporting tools with accuracy and care

· Review, request and collate documentary evidence to support reimbursement claims

· Submit reimbursement claims using the correct evidence and required processes

· Enter and check information across specific government and internal platforms

· Conduct audits and follow up queries to ensure information is accurate and complete

· Monitor, action and respond to relevant departmental and program requirements

· Maintain strict confidentiality and support the secure handling of sensitive information

· Assist with general office administration duties and participate in staff meetings as required

· Work in line with legislation, Child Safe requirements, DEWR Deeds and NJL policies and procedures
