Role Description The Cleaning Supervisor and Depot Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Gosford, NSW. This role oversees daily cleaning operations, including scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and monitoring work quality to ensure all client facilities are maintained to a high standard. The position is responsible for managing depot activities such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment readiness and cleanliness.

The supervisor provides hands-on support to cleaning teams, trains new team members in best practices and safety procedures, and ensures compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. The role also involves liaising with clients,



responding to service requests, and addressing any issues in a timely and qualified manner.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience supervising cleaning teams or similar operational staff, preferably in commercial or industrial environments.
- Robust organizational and depot management skills, including inventory tracking, equipment maintenance coordination, and scheduling.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and hygiene standards, with a focus on washrooms and high-traffic facilities.
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members, fostering a positive and accountable work culture.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety standards and the ability to enforce safe work practices.
- Competence with basic computer systems and record-keeping for rosters, stock levels, and service documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally between client sites as required.
- Previous experience in facilities management, cleaning services, or related fields is highly regarded.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, stand for extended periods, and handle cleaning equipment safely.
