We are looking for a proactive, engaged, and thoughtful Cleaning Team Leader to oversee and lead our dedicated cleaning team. The ideal candidate should be known for their careful and reliable approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently maintained. As a team leader you will welcome, train and guide new team members to the Clean Feeling standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: lead, motivate and train the cleaning team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Quality control: oversee and maintain the quality of cleaning services by conducting inspections, addressing areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Training and Development: provide training and guidance to team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Safety and Compliance: ensure that the team follows safety protocols, regulations and company policies at all times
- Problem-Solving: actively identify and address cleaning challenges, seeking thoughtful solutions to deliver effective results.
- Scheduling: ability to manage and update schedules and rosters for the team
Job Details: This is a full time role (38 hours paid per week) supporting our afternoon/evening crew teams across 5 shifts Monday to Friday. Shifts start time approx 4.30pm with crews finishing between 10pm-1am.
You will be required to be available for all shifts to support the team, and step in to cover shifts when required.

Job requirements:
- 1 year experience in a team leadership role within the cleaning industry
- Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail in cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think proactively and make informed decisions
- Highly responsive and adaptable to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of of cleaning products, techniques and safety practices
- Be willing to obtain White Card & Police Check
- Must have a current driver’s licence and own transportation
