Experienced trade foreman is required for commercial plaster and carpentry company.

The ideal candidate is a trade qualified carpenter, drywall plasterer or ceiling and partition contractor looking to advance in their career to supervise and project manage multi residential construction projects in the commercial sector in Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. We have a solid 20 + year background in NSW delivering large scale projects and we have now have expanded fulltime into the Queensland building market.

The position requires, but not limited to, the following minimum attributes:

- Detailed knowledge and experience of the plastering and carpentry trades
- Advanced skills with interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Detailed knowledge of all trade products and installation requirements
- Ability to survey or set out from architectural plans
- Possess high level document keeping and management skills
- Produce and modify a construction program
- Can demonstrate team management skills for a large team across multiple trades
- Demonstrate a high level of computer skills
- Experience as a material procurement manager

Can problem solve onsite to achieve an outcome within company guidelines
2. Displays a high level of detail in daily performance working on large commercial sites

The role requirements.
- Report to the QLD Construction Manager and submitting monthly reports for claims etc
- Manage and direct a large team of trades people onsite
- Control supply ordering and delivery to site
- Supervise all installations and ensure they are all constructed to all the relevant building codes and project specifications
- Ability to set out or survey all installations and confirm compliance
- Manage site cleanliness at all times
- Liaise with site managers of stakeholders throughout the entire project
- Identify any issues for both staff and materials and report to the State Manager
- Be well presented and have a high level of communication skills

1. Up to 55 hours per week for a 5.5 day working week.
