Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business
Analyst with expertise in Field Service Management (FSM) for Outage
Management to bridge business requirements and technology solutions for utility
organizations. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business
processes, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and delivering
solutions that improve outage response, field workforce productivity, customer
experience, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
Management
- Gather,
analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, SMEs, and
operational teams.
- Conduct
workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions to identify business
needs and improvement opportunities.
- Create
Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements
Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Translate
business requirements into functional specifications for development
teams.
Field Service Management for outage
managmenet
- Analyze
and improve field service processes including work order management,
scheduling, dispatching, workforce mobility, and asset maintenance.
- Collaborate
with field operations teams to optimize technician productivity and
service delivery.
- Support
implementation and enhancement of Field Service solutions such as SAP SAM
or ADMS POAM platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Skills
- Solid
experience in Business Analysis within Utility, Energy, Electricity, or
Field Service industries.
- Understanding
of Outage Management Systems (OMS) and utility operations.
- Knowledge
of Field Service Management processes:

- Scheduling
& Dispatch
- Mobile
Workforce Management
- Service
Operations
Technical Skills
- Experience
with OMS, FSM, GIS, SCADA, CIS, EAM, or ERP integrations.
- Familiarity
with APIs, data mapping, system integrations, and workflow automation.
- Experience
with Power BI, SQL, Azure, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar platforms
is advantageous.
- Knowledge
of Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
Business Analysis Skills
- Requirements
elicitation and documentation.
- Process
modelling (BPMN, Visio).
- Gap
analysis and business process reengineering.
- User
story creation and backlog management.
- Stakeholder
management and workshop facilitation.
