The Opportunity
We are seeking a Consultant – Agentic Web Developer to join our Agentic team in Melbourne. This is a hands-on consulting and software development role focused on designing, developing and delivering modern web applications and cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and AI-assisted development tools.
You will work directly with customers, business stakeholders and technical teams to analyse business requirements, design solution architectures, develop web applications, integrate cloud services and support production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution architectures.
- Design, develop and maintain modern web applications and cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs, databases and cloud services.
- Deploy, configure and support solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Participate in testing, debugging, code reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain source code repositories and deployment pipelines using GitHub and related tooling.
- Support production deployments and ongoing operational support.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience designing, developing and maintaining web applications.
- Experience integrating APIs, databases and cloud services.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Robust understanding of web technologies, software development principles and application architecture.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working directly with customers in a solution delivery environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have
- A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field; OR
- At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in web application development and software engineering.
