*The Role An opportunity has become available for several Cook's to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Manage the plating of main meals and coordinate the production and distribution services

Work with minimal supervision ensuring all food and beverage is prepared

Ensure portion control, food allergy governance and therapeutic diet management is correct

Provide ethical decision making, training and instruction to subordinate staff

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Permanent full time and permanent part time (one full time position and one part time position, 40 hours per fortnight)

Base salary ranging from $71,568 - $75,017 per annum or $36.09 - $37.83 per hour

The Nutrition and Food Services department is committed to safe, effective and optimal nutrition management for adult and paediatric patients as wells as education and training, credentialing and scope of clinical practice, performance management reports, evidence-based care, monitoring of variation in clinical practice and health outcomes.
