The Pancake Parlour is looking for enthusiastic Cooks to join the team at our busy HIGHPOINT restaurant!
We currently have FULL-TIME & PART-TIME positions available for the right candidates!
What You’ll Do:
- You'll learn how to cook every single one of our quirky and delicious menu items.
- Work in a high volume kitchen over a mix of day and night shifts.
- Be part of a team who put the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Create delicious dishes by preparing and cooking our menu items to perfection.
- Ensure top-notch food safety and stock rotation.
- Keep our kitchen clean and organized—because we take pride in our space!

Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone who can keep their cool in a busy kitchen environment.
- A multitasker who can learn how to prep and line cook.
- Strong English comprehension and verbal skills - you'll need to read and follow recipes and communicate with a large team.
- Previous kitchen experience is essential – you don’t need to be a qualified chef, but you must have a good understanding of basic kitchen operations, food preparation and food safety.
The Fine Print:
- The successful applicant must have valid Australian working rights
- You’ll need a reliable means of getting to and from work to meet the operational requirements of the role.
- Cooks who complete our training program are entitled to a FREE meal on every shift!
- You must be available to work our peak trading times such as Saturday nights!
- As a 24-hour restaurant, there may be occasional overnight (dawn) shifts where support is needed, so flexibility in this area is appreciated.
- Hours and rosters vary each week depending on FT-PT roles at The Pancake Parlour, with shifts typically 7-8 hours long which includes evenings, late night shifts (e.g. 5pm -12:30/1am) so applicants must genuinely be able to work these hours.
