Who We Are Keystone Executive Coaching is an Australian business advisory and coaching firm working with established SME owners to help them build better, more profitable businesses.
We’re a team of strategists, coaches, marketers and creatives who value independent thinking, challenging convention and looking at problems differently.
We’re practical and commercially focused — but we’re also curious enough to explore ideas, perspectives and possibilities that sit outside conventional business thinking.
Good ideas can come from anywhere. We care more about whether they’re helpful than whether they’re conventional.
About the Role
We already have people who can execute ideas.
Our existing creative team includes a Marketing Strategist, Videographer and Editor responsible for turning ideas into campaigns, content and finished creative.
What we're missing is someone who helps us determine which ideas are worth executing in the first place.
We're looking for a highly intuitive,
curious and reflective thinker to work directly with our Founder as a sounding board and thinking partner.
This is an unusual role because your primary output is the quality of your thinking.
You'll challenge concepts, question assumptions, identify blind spots, recognise patterns, explore alternative perspectives and help turn rough or incomplete thinking into stronger creative direction.
Sometimes you'll receive a campaign or developed concept to review.
Sometimes it'll be a script, advertisement or piece of creative.
And sometimes it'll be a screenshot, voice note or half-formed idea accompanied by:
“What am I missing?”
We want someone who genuinely enjoys answering that question.
This is not an assistant role
Despite working directly with the Founder, there are no Personal Assistant or administrative responsibilities attached to this position.
You won't manage calendars, emails, appointments, bookings, errands or office administration.
You also won't be expected to film, edit, publish or manage content.
We have people responsible for execution.
Your job is to think.
What You'll Do
- Challenge the Founder’s ideas, assumptions and thinking
- Spot patterns, connections and opportunities others miss
- Bring intuition and unconventional perspectives into decision-making
- Question accepted narratives rather than automatically following consensus
- Read between the lines of human behaviour, culture and trends
- Explore psychology, spirituality, consciousness and other frameworks for insight
- Identify when something feels off and investigate why
- Turn observations and intuition into stronger concepts and creative direction
- Think independently — we’re not looking for an NPC or another person to simply agree
Intuition matters here We're interested in people who combine reasoning with intuition.
You might have a strong interest in psychology, human behaviour, philosophy, culture, consciousness, spirituality, astrology, personal development or other frameworks for understanding people and the world.
You don't need to convince us that any particular worldview is correct.
We're interested in what your perspective allows you to notice.
If you sometimes know something feels wrong before you can explain why, follow unusual connections between ideas, notice patterns other people dismiss, or need time to sit with something before your best thinking appears — we consider that valuable.
We aren't looking for someone to agree with the Founder.
We're looking for someone capable of saying:
“I understand what you're trying to do, but I think you're looking at it the wrong way.”
And then helping us find a better way to look at it.
Pay: $30.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 10.0 per week
Work Location: Remote
