About the Role

We are seeking a Credit Officer to join our Perth based Finance team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day management of customer accounts, debt collection and accounts receivable. You’ll work closely with the Credit Controller and Financial Controller to keep customer accounts up to date and payments on track.

Key responsibilities

- Follow up customers for overdue payments and keep outstanding debts moving.
- Monitor overdue accounts and debtor ageing.
- Contact customers regarding unpaid invoices and payment arrangements.
- Assist with customer credit checks and current account set-up.
- Allocate customer payments and assist with account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve invoice, payment and account queries.
- Process customer credits and account adjustments.
- Keep customer and credit records accurate and up to date.
- Assist with debtor reports, month-end tasks and other accounts receivable duties.
- Work with internal teams to resolve billing issues and avoid payment delays.
- Escalate overdue or higher-risk accounts when required.
- Assist with improving credit and accounts receivable processes.

About you We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable following up customers for payment.

You’ll ideally have

- Previous experience in credit control,



debt collection or accounts receivable.
- Experience dealing with business customers and customer accounts.
- Good attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
- Good Excel and accounting system skills.
- Clear communication skills and confidence speaking with customers.
- A proactive approach and the ability to follow through on outstanding tasks.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in transport, logistics, fuel or a similar industry will be an advantage.
