About the Position The City is seeking a self-motivated professional, experienced in delivering high-quality, customer-focused frontline services to join the City’s Customer Relations team.

As a Customer Relations Officer, you will be the first point of contact for face-to-face and telephone enquiries at the Civic Centre, handling enquiries and processing requests to deliver positive experiences for our residents and customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a centralised contact centre at an organisation seeking to place the customer at the heart of everything we do. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent service, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a permanent full-time position.

About you To be successful in this role, you will need experience in a customer service position, such as a contact centre or face to face, with some knowledge of banking/reconciliation,



office phone processes and office systems, including Microsoft Office or equivalent. You will display excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and an ability to use empathy to understand customer needs.

We are looking for someone who:

- delivers exceptional customer service across face-to-face, phone, email and online channels
- has strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and apply knowledge to resolve varied and complex customer requests
- has well-developed organisational skills and the initiative to prioritise workload and deliver timely service
- has a proven ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively with others.
