We are currently seeking entry-level Laboratory Technicians to join a busy laboratory based in Orange.
This is a hands-on role involving Ore sample preparation, manual handling and general housekeeping o within the laboratory environment. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door of the mining industry.
About the Role
Working as part of the laboratory team, your duties will include:
- Preparation and processing of ore samples
- Manual handling of samples and materials
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following established procedures and safety requirements
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements
- Other general laboratory duties as required
About You
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who:
- Are comfortable working in a hands-on and physically active environment
- Have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Are willing to learn and follow instructions and procedures
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Have previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment, which is desirable but not essential
Roster & Hours
- 7 days on, 7 days off
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating day and night shifts
- Laboratory based in Orange
Essential Requirements
- Must be reliable and committed to the roster
- Must be able to successfully pass a National Police Check & Medical
- Must be physically capable of performing the manual requirements of the role
- Previous industrial or manufacturing experience is desirable
