About the role

n

Lower Plenty Garden Views is looking for a chef who can make a difference to the lives of our residents.

n

You will be passionate about aged care and supportive of your team of dedicated catering staff.

n

Working with 90 beds in Lower Plenty, this position will be full time ongoing.

n

Your main duties will include:

n

n
- Oversight Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm managing the day to day operations of a busy Aged Care Kitchen.
n
- Cooking to a set menu
n
- IDDSI and allergen awareness essential
n
- resident and relative meetings, budget tracking and food ordering via computerised systems.
n

n

About you

n

n
- Cert 4 in cooking minimum
n
- Aged Care experience preferred
n
- Knowledge of computers and Leecare system (desirable)
n
- Strong positive leadership
n
