About the role

As a Dog Walker, you'll be responsible for safely collecting dogs from their homes, transporting them to and from walking locations, supervising group walks, improving behaviour with positive reinforcement training, and ensuring every dog receives the highest standard of care. You'll be trusted to manage your daily schedule efficiently, build strong relationships with clients, and represent The Barking Brit in a skilled manner at all times.

- Manage your daily schedule efficiently

- Build strong relationships with clients

- Represent The Barking Brit in a professional manner at all times

About you

- Hold a full, clean Australian driver's licence (no P-plates)

- Be positive, outgoing, professional, and reliable

- Be confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments

- Have excellent communication and customer service skills





- Be physically fit and capable of walking multiple dogs each day

- Have valid working rights in Australia for a minimum of 18 months

- Be comfortable working independently and using initiative

- Be available Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm

- Previous experience as a group dog walker is highly regarded

- Experience working in kennels, dog daycare, veterinary clinics, animal shelters, or similar animal-care environments is highly regarded

- Willingness to obtain a police check
