About the role

As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the successful day-to-day operation of the venue. You will be a visible and approachable leader, responsible for ensuring our members and guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of compliance, security, presentation and operational performance. No two shifts are the same. You will need to be confident making decisions, managing competing priorities and supporting your team to deliver a consistently positive experience.

Key responsibilities

- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the venue
- Delivering exceptional customer service to members and their guests
- Leading, coordinating and motivating staff to achieve high operational and service standards
- Ensuring compliance with the Registered Clubs Act and all relevant legislation
- Ensuring venue policies, procedures and responsible service requirements are consistently followed
- Maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for members, guests and employees
- Managing customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and effectively
- Providing members and guests with current information about venue facilities, services and promotions
- Building strong relationships with members and regularly engaging with our gaming patrons
- Identifying opportunities to improve the member experience and encourage repeat visitation

About you

- Comprehensive experience across the Club and hospitality industry
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory, leadership or Duty Manager position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills




- Robust organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent cash-handling skills
- Strong leadership, motivational and conflict-resolution skills
- The confidence to make decisions and manage challenging situations
- Current approved RSA & ARCG Competency Cards
- Current First Aid qualification

Recruitment Process The successful applicant will also be required to obtain and provide a National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC) from a relevant Australian Police Service prior to commencement.
