About the venue:

Located 30 minutes North of Perth, The Marina Mindarie is a multi-site F&B; operation, home to venues such as Indian Ocean Brewing Co, The Boat, Lifeboat, Taverna & The Marina Hotel.

The Position

Reporting to the Venue Manager & Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent service and atmosphere is present 7 days a week!

This is a hands-on role - you must enjoy working on the floor, leading your team from the front, and being the visible face of the venue.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- The day-to-day hands-on operation of the venue

- Opening & closing procedures, including cash-up and basic reporting.

- Assist with inducting and training new staff

- Being the face of the venue, interacting with guests during service periods.

- Ensuring F&B; service consistently exceeds our guest's expectations.

- You have an eye for detail and are solution focused. You see operational challenges and assist with improvements.

- You are fair, firm and friendly with your team - coaching, training, developing and inspiring them all along the way.

- You are flexible with working weekends, some late nights and early mornings.

- You are proficient with Microsoft office, have a solid understanding of computers, and ideally POS systems.
